Stephen Sondheim: An Afternoon of Song and Story

On Sunday, November 17, from 3pm to 5pm, The Ark (at Shames JCC on The Hudson) will present “Stephen Sondheim: An Afternoon of Song and Story.” Broadway legend and long-time Tarrytown resident Jack Viertel will delve into the history and song writing of the acclaimed lyricist and composer, while a live orchestra and professional vocal quartet bring Sondheim's music to life.

Transom will be on-site selling books about Sondheim and Broadway history, including Viertel’s books (Broadway Melody and The Secret Life of the American Musical), which he will be available to sign after the event.
